"One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child". - Dr. Maria Montessori

Madeleine Finn
Is a caring, enthusiastic teacher with a strong commitment to student development and the learning experience. She has an excellent background and proven success in helping children reach their full potential. In addition she envision her classroom to be like the world, busy, exciting, and always in motion. Every student will be an essential part of the classroom community. She believes learning comes from experience and not solely from pages of books. A child's gifts and struggles will be addressed, recognized, and respected. Creativity will transformed into a habit, not a special occasion.
She views a child's mistakes as opportunities for them to grow from. The classroom environment will always be a place where it's okay to think, observe, and question, while having fun. Her student's have the freedom to explore, discover, and develop their own passions and interests. Upholding the Montessorian idea her student's will understand that we are all learner's, including the Teacher.
Growth comes from activity not from intellectual understanding. - Dr. Maria Montessori
